The Ministry of Health is carrying out the Gaziantep City Hospital Project with the Public Private Partnership model. The hospital, which serves Gaziantep and the surrounding region, has a bed capacity of 1,875. The project is located in the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep province, built on a total land area of 330,090 square meters, with a construction area of 638,088 square meters.

45,000 people visit Gaziantep City Hospital every day, which employs 6,000 workers.

The Gaziantep City Hospital is 7 kilometers from the city center and is easily accessible by tram and public buses. Gaziantep City Hospital consist of a Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital, a High-Security Forensic Psychiatric Hospital, as well as the main hospital building, which will house the General Hospital, Cardiovascular Surgery and Oncology Hospital, Psychiatric Hospital, as well as the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

* Main Hospital: 1625 beds

* Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital: 150 beds

* High-Security Forensic Psychiatric Hospital: 100 beds

This project includes a 265-bed Intensive Care Unit, a 60-incubator Newborn Care Unit, and a 6-bed Burn Intensive Care Unit.  There are also plans to build a 20-bed capacity Bone-Marrow Transplant Unit, a 30-seat Hemodialysis Unit, and a 40-seat Chemotherapy Unit.  
 
The Gaziantep City Hospital Project has been implemented with an environmentally friendly engineering approach and energy-saving solutions.

Rönesans Healthcare Investment, Meridiam, Samsung C&T, and Istanbul Portföy took over the Gaziantep City Hospital Project in 2022. It began operations in 2023, one year ahead of its scheduled completion date.
