Başakşehir Çam & Sakura City Hospital Hospital Project is Turkey’s third largest health investment project under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) agreement model initiated by the Ministry of Health and will provide services to İstanbul and its neighboring provinces.
Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital Project is Turkey’s 3rd largest health investment project, carried out by the Ministry of Health with the Public Private Partnership model, and serves Istanbul and surrounding provinces. The project was established on a total area of 790,000 m2 in Başakşehir district of Istanbul province in northwestern Turkey.
In addition to the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and TEM connection roads, metro station planning will enable our people in Istanbul to access the most appropriate health services in the fastest and most comfortable way.
Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital consists of the Main Hospital with a capacity of 2,354 beds, the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital with a capacity of 200 beds and the Psychiatric Hospital with a capacity of 128 beds. The main hospital consists of 6 blocks built around a common core structure and includes the following hospitals:
Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, which has a bed capacity of 2,755 and a closed construction area of 1,021,000 m2, has been awarded the title of “Building with the World’s Largest Seismic Isolators” with 2,068 seismic isolators to be placed in the main hospital.
Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital will continue to continue all its operational activities without disruption even during and after the most severe earthquake possible, thanks to the world’s most advanced earthquake isolators.
